The UNM SPIE Student Chapter will be hosting a student pitch competition at CHTM.

Each student will have a maximum of 3 minutes to present an idea, research, and innovation to a panel of judges. The judges, Prof. Arash Mafi, Prof. Marek Osinski, and Prof. Ganesh Balakrishnan will then decide on winners based on presentation skills, content of the research, idea, or service, and overall presentation.

There will be a monetary prize of $200 for 1^st place, $125 for second, and $75 for third. The audience will also be able to vote, and the audience’s selected winner will win $50.

Refreshments will be served.
